I didn’t sit in on this episode with Chait Razdan, but once I listened, I knew it was one worth spotlighting. Chait is the kind of guest who reminds us why the Medtech Business Academy exists: to share real stories from leaders who care deeply about what they’re building and who they’re building it for.

One moment that stayed with me was when Chait said, “We want to be constantly iterating, constantly improving.” That mindset matters—especially in a space where patients, clinicians, and supply chain leaders depend on you to get it right the first time, and better the next.

He also spoke openly about pricing and access. “To us, every hospital is the same importance,” he explained. In a time when rural systems are struggling and larger ones are cutting costs, that approach is not only rare, it’s necessary.

Chait’s view of innovation isn’t rooted in flash or hype. It’s grounded in humility, transparency, and a willingness to ask for help. “You can’t be afraid to ask,” he said, and that’s something more founders and leaders need to hear.

Care+Wear’s story is a strong example of what it looks like to serve first, then scale. If you’re thinking about how to build long-term value in medtech, this conversation is worth your time.
