Blog Template

Intro:

Non Bold- Write one to two lines of compelling context about your topic. I think Font Size 16 is good. Your font color is good. No need to use black and bold font throughout.

Bold and Italicize Something Important: Quote etc.

What Occurs in the Intro of the Blog:

  • a compelling reason to read the blog. A question or thought that immediately connects with the reader. Something they can relate to.
  • A specific explanation of what you are going to cover

paragraph one – Subtitle (H2)

Write a couple sentences. None longer than 3. If longer, break into short paragraphs.  Remember to insert an external or internal link. Embrace white space.

People are skimmers.

Use all the Formatted Sub-headers for more complicated subjects. (h2)

Look at your paragraph. Is there anything that can be broken into bullets or list? Chances are any 5 sentence paragraph can be a list.

Make a list. (h3)

  • Nurses get burned out because of their shift structure
  • Nurses get burned out because the work is emotionally draining
  • Nurses get burned out because of the amount of responsibility.

Remember to add an image if possible to break up the text. I usually like right justified but full center is good too.

paragraph two – Subtitle (H2)

Add a quote or statistics. I would increase font size and use bold and italics. Can also hyper link.

Conclusion – Subtitle (H2)

Every post should have a solid conclusion that reminds readers why they landed on the site in the first place and brings them back to your UVP. This is a good place to add an internal link to something else that might interest them.

Otherwise, where do they go upon completion of reading the article?

I would always close out with a standard CTA. It can be a link to another post, contact us, get a demo etc.
